Artificial Intelligence at Our Firm: Our Approach

Our firm may use artificial intelligence tools to support specific phases of legal work: case law research, document analysis, drafting of texts, and legal translation.

AI is for us a tool, not a decision-maker: all AI-generated output is reviewed, corrected and validated by the responsible lawyer before it is used or communicated to the client.

Professional judgment is always human.

What we do in practice

• We only use AI tools with which we have entered into data protection agreements (Data Processing Agreements under GDPR Article 28) that prohibit the use of client data for AI model training.
• Personal data and confidential client information are protected by the same strict confidentiality standards we apply to all our work, in full compliance with lawyer-client privilege and the GDPR.
• All staff members who use AI tools receive dedicated training on correct usage, limitations and risks.
• Our AI governance framework is reviewed periodically to remain aligned with evolving regulation, in particular Italian Law 132/2025 and Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (EU AI Act).

Clients are always informed.

If AI tools are used in the course of handling your matter, we will inform you as appropriate to the circumstances. 

You may at any time request that your matter be handled without the use of AI tools.
